Refrigerator Coils – Easy Cleaning Method

According to a a refrigerator repairman  it a good idea to clean your your Refrigerator Coils twice a year. The refrigerator can use up to 15 percent of your home’s total power, so you want it running as efficiently as possible. Over time, the refrigerator coils get dirty and your fridge requires more juice. When the refrigerator coils are covered with dust, the refrigerator can’t run efficiently. You can save up to $100 a year by doing this, and it’s not at all a difficult task. Pull the refrigerator from the wall to reveal the coils in back or carefully remove the grille if the coils are on the bottom front. Be sure to unplug the refrigerator before you start and using the brush attachment on your vacuum will help get that dust off easily. If you are not able to roll your refrigerator out yourself then it is a good idea to find someone that can help.  If you keep this up twice a year then your refrigerator will run more efficiently.
